It takes such sincere intention to reach out to others when you’re trying to climb out of your own pit.

Depression is the worst liar.

Eating disorders are ruthless, callous, cruel friends.

Anxiety is a deceiving, unrelenting alarm clock.

They take up your existence and blind you from your values. They make it impossible to reach out when they’re all so very present at the same time.

You have to just let people help you. You have to just sort of surrender your walls, and let everything spill out. You have to reach out to others in darkness because that’s how love will fill you up and love will heal everything, for everybody.
