Tonight I sat next to the train tracks. But no train came. And no texts. No phone calls. No people. No nothing, except my own thoughts questioning why on earth —why on earth— my legs and my brain took me here to sit and sink and contemplate.
I returned to a sleeping house. The perfect place for my demons to set up camp as I watch in awe and fear and they slowly take my life.
I just want to be asleep, too.
