Your eyes tell the stories you’re afraid to tell, that you won’t tell. Emerald green specks embedded in deep sea blue, surrounded by clouds of white give way to the inquisitive and skeptical eyes of another.

The skies are immanently grey forcing your sunglasses to be put away, for what seems like, eternity. When the flood gates become overrun, everyone can see. You are fully clothed but completely naked when the sun retires.

A permanent mortification runs through your veins and settles in your heart, making it pound faster than it should, until it becomes too much. But instead of breaking down, this time you calmly, quietly, tranquilly, decide to abandon the bedlam.
